Sunset Harbor Youth Jaiied For Neighborhood Break-In A 17-year -old Sunset Harbor voulh was sentenced to 48 hours in jail and ordered to write a letter of ? _ t.:. -i ?* iii.i * iv ill u anwi ('iwauiu^ guilty in Brunswick County District Court last week to charges of misde meanor breaking and entering and larceny. Among the items removed during the break-in were five fishing reels, a color television, a box of bullets, a folding knife and a case of beer, ac cording to the arrest warrant Ray had been charged with felo nious breaking and entering and lar ceny. He pleaded guilty to the lesser charges as part of a plea-bargain. in addition to the active jai! time. District Court Judge Ola Lewis gave Ray two consccutivc two-year prison sentences. These were sus pended on the condition that he pay restitution to his victim for the stolen property and S ! HO for his court-appointed lawyer. Ray was also ordered to graduate from high school and to write a IU page essay on his future goals and aspirations how a criminal fECOfd will affect those plans. He was put on supervised probation for four years. Judge Lewis presided over three days of district court in Bolivia last week.
