Jon Lofli Jan Loflin finished with 46 points to lead the fir* night in the Bnerwood Ladies Golf Association points tournament last Tuesday Golfers received five points for net double eagle, four points for ea gle, three for birdie, two for par and ooe for bogey. Peg Sawyer placed scuond in ibe lop flight with 45 points. Tied for third with 42 each were Hilda Hall. Nel Justice, Joanna Lang and Mary Schaack. Sawyer had low putts with 23. In the second flight, Lois Beato led the way with 44 points. Marie Dolan and Pat Wolff tied for second with 43 apiece, and Irene Bryant and Jean Lacerenza shared third with 42. Pat O'Cooneli and Ruth Under tied for low putts with 30 each. Pierrette Tompkins won the third flight with 48 points. She was fol lowed by Jane Flieg with 41' Rita Dugan with 39 and Audrey Salmon and Alice Micali with 37 each. Tied for low putts with 31 apiece were Marian Johnson, Dugan, Esther Smith and Emily I aughlin Fourth flight winners were Louise Blizard with 48 points. Dodie Ni laixi with 41 and Elizabeth Carter and Marion Corbin with 40 each. Corbin had low putts with 28. Doris Dunfee chipped in for birdie at the fifth hole. Also chip ping in were Martha Wareheim at the second hole, Keg Sterner at the fifth, Margaret Pingo at the 10th, O'Connell at the 11th, Niland at the 17th and Lacerenza at the 18th. Making birdies were Janice Owens. Brvant and Beato at the sec ond bole, Laughlin at the third, Hall at the sixth, Micali at the eighth, Loflin at the Uth and Lacerenza at the 14th. Brick Landing Ladies Peg Campana, Sue Nelson and Vivian Rowe won the first flight in the Brick landing Ladies Golf As sociation tournament last Thursday. Each threesome counted the two low gross scores on each hole. Leading the second flight were Ursula Styczynski. Rosemary Dob son and Loraine Babcock. Dobson made birdies at the second and 17th holes. Also carding birdies were Cam pana at the first hole, Ruth Gardner at the second, Rowe at the 12th and Alice Grossman at the 18th. Making chip-ins were Campana at the 13th, Terry hitlers at the 16th and Joan Behrle at the 17th. Loekwood Shootout Mike Smith and Robert Ball fin ished at plus 13 H to win the shootout l??t Wednesday at Lockwood Golf Links. Bill Harrison and Buddy Holl owell placed second at plus 11. Fran Hursh and Jim Campana took third at plus 9X, and Carol Hursh and Hal Foley were fourth at plus 9. Brierwood Men Two teams tied for first place in the Brierwood Men's Golf Asso ciation tournament last Thursday, Jack Causer, Dave Harper and Jerry Smith had a total team net of 287 to tie Neal McCall, Bob Wareheim and Paul Keeiey. Both teams used blind draws for their fourth scores.
