light satin with Victorian neckline,
fitted waist and Victorian sleeves. Its
bodice, sleeves and skirt were
trimmed in Venise lace, pearls and
iridcscents. The illusion back led to
a semi-cathedral train with alternat
ing panels of Chantilly lace topped
with a bow.
Her headpiecc was an ivory
crown embellished with Alencnn
lace and pearls with fingertip-length
imported pencil-edged trim illusion.
She carried a cascade bouquet of

Health Fair Focus Extends
To Include Entire Family
The Brunswick Hospital's Sth an
nuo! health fair June 18 promises to
be a family affair this year.

The fair will take place rain or
shine from noon until 2 rvm at The
Brunswick Hospital on U.S. 17 at
Supply. Hospital departments will
join area health agencies and not-for
profit organizations in offering edu
cational materials, blood pressure,
glucose and cholesterol checks, and
eye and dental screenings, along with
free food and gifts for all who attend.

Two "crash dummies" will edu
cate the public on driving safety,
while the Brunswick Shores Mental
Health Center will provide educa
tional materials relating to diagnosis
and treatment of conditions such as
depression.
Face painting will be offered for
children and the N.C. Highway
Patrol will participate with its drug
detection dog.

The bride is the daughter of
Malcolm S. Smith of Lake View.
S.C, and Cecelia R. Smith of Bress
mer Drive, Holden Beach. She is a
graduate of West Brunswick High
School and attended Southeastern
Community College.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Benedict John Del Re Sr.
of Washington, D.C He is a gradu
ate of St. John's Military College,
Gonzaga High School and George
Washington University, ail of
Washington, D.C.; and Whittier Col
lege School of Law, Los Angeles,
Calif. He is an attorney whose prac
tice is at Holden Beach.
The bride, given in marriage by
her father, wore a formal gown of
ivory satin and tulle. The heavily
beaded bodice was lavished with ap
pliqued schiffli lace motifs and a
contessa neckline. The long fitted
siecves were detailed by beaded
pearls and rosettes which tapered to
a point at the wrist. The foil tulle
skirt was embellished by pearl flow
ers. The deep V-back neckline was
enhanced with schiffli lace and
flowed into a satin semi-cathedral
train adorned with bridal bows and
encrusted schiffli lace. Her veil of
sheer illusion flowed from a tiara
enhanced by sequins and pearls.
She carried a cascade bouquet of
mixed flowers enhanced with bridal
roses, foliage and tiny ribbon
streamers.
Matron of honor was the groom's
sister, Stephanie D. Johnson of New 1
