Holden Beach Man Pleads
Guilty On Federal Tax Charge
A Hoklcn Beach man has pleaded
guilty in federal court to one count
of failing to file a federal income tax
return, according to a news release
from the office of U.S. Attorney
Janice McKenzie Cole.
On June 7, Mark David Hiiz
pleaded guilty to failure to file a fed
eral income tax return for 1990 for
gross earnings in excess of
$100,000, the release states. Ac
cording to the plea agreement filed
in open court in Fayetlcville. Hilz
also agreed to pay back taxes total
