They Read 12,000 Books
Esther Smith i first-graders at Lincoln Primary School were challenged to read more than the 9,575 her class read last year and 27 stu
dents met the challenge by reading more thanl2,U6 books. Alison Stratton Has top reader with 1,600 books, followed by William

University during the spring semes
ter.
To mike the dean's list students
must earn an academic average of
3.25 or higher if they arc carrying 15
or more hours of course work, or a
3.5 grade point average if they are
carrying 12 to 14 hours.
