Lyles of Shallotte have announced the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Katherine Dianna. to Dereck Lanndon Norfleet, son of Mrs. Susan Kimmer of Salisbury and Reggie Norfleet of Hampton, Va. The wedding will take place Saturday, Aug. 6, at 3 pjn. at Jennies Branch Baptist Church , Ocean Isle Beach. Friends and relatives of the couple are invited. Arriving at 6:12 p.m. July 25 at Cape Fear Memorial Hospital in Wilmington, she weighed six pounds, nine ounces, and was 19 inches long. Grandparents are Kelly and Bar bara Holden of Grissettown and William and Debbie Norris of Ocean Isle Beach. Great-grandparents are Vera C. Smith of Ash, Minnie Bell Holden of Grissettown, Lee and the Rev. William Greer of Supply, and Mary and Jessie Sellars of Whiteville. Holbert-Trively Vows Are Spoken In Virginia Elizabeth Anne Holbert and Martin Churchill Trively were unit ed in marriage in a 1 p.m. ceremony July 9 at Pohick Episcopal Church in Lorton. Va. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles H. Holbert of Mt. Ixbanon. Pa. Her grandmother. Mrs. C. Rob Holbert, lived in Calabash from 1983 until 1994. The bride also worked in Calabash two summers. The groom's parents are the Rev. and Mrs. Timothy C. Trively of Tampa. Fla. The groom's father, along with the Rev. Marcia Ses sions. presided over the wedding ceremony. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white cotton bro cade dress fashioned by her mother. It featured a princess bodice with Basque waistline, open front and back necklines adorned with Venetian lace, a lace-covered collar and very full elbow-length sleeves. The self-train was adorned with a rosette-topped bow and lace trimmed drape. Her veil was shoul der-length with a lace headpiece. She carried a cascading bouquet of pink and gerber daisies, purple and white roses, baby's breath and greenery. Matron of honor was Trace y Rhodes Parker of Norman, Okla. Bridesmaids were Lizabeth Leigh Sinnett of Carson City, NJ., and Laura Rhodes Clarke of Birming ham, Ala. All are the bride's cous ins. They wore mid-calf-length prin cess dresses of deep lilac cotton damask with necklines trimmed in Venetian lace. Best man was the groom's broth er, Winston Elliot Trively of Banner Elk. Ushers were William Sean Jarvis of Springfield, Va.. and Kevin Lyn of Durham. A reception followed the ceremo ny at Guston Hall in Mason Neck, Va.
