Not An Attack
To the editor
I would like to go on record as saying that
residents have not, and are not in the future,
planning an "attack" on Sunny Point
No one has any complaints about the mil
itary facility itself. It is clearly an issue of
the county's lack of jurisdiction over the
property and the misrepresentation of "coun
ty" zoning on the military facility.
I want it to be known that everyone in
volved in this request has conducted them
selves in an organized professional manner.
We have dooe our utmost to provide factual
information to aid the county on this issue.
At no point could our actions be con
strued as an "attack."
