Stanley and Paul Alexander Holden exchanged vows July 30 in Pine Valley Church of God, Wilmington, with the Rev. Ron Dyson officiating. The bride is the daughter of Lil lian Lott (Ann) Stanley of Supply and the late David R. Stanley of Wilmington. She is a graduate of Brunswick Community College with a degree in business management. She is an instrument technician em ployed by Jeremiah Patrick, DDS, in Wilmington. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David M. Holden of Ocean Isle Beach. He is a West Brunswick High School graduate and is em ployed by Etheridge and Son Pest Control of Shallotte. The bride, given in wantage by her mother and her uncle, Kenneth Stanley, was escorted by her uncle. She wore an ivory satin off-the shoulder gown with pouf sleeves. The gown was hand-accented by the bride's sister with bows, iridescent beads, sequins and rhinestones. She wore an ivory chiffon halo headpiece accented with ivory ami white satin roses and iridescent seed pearls, handmade by her sister. The carried a cascading bouquet of ivory, white amethyst and lavendar satin roses accented with iridescent seed pearls and baby's breath. Matron of honor was the bride's sister, Sheila Roberson of Wilming ton. Maid of honor was the bride's daughter, Brittany Stanley of Wilm ington. The groom's sister, Tara Lambert of Hickman's Crossroads, was bridesmaid. They wore amethyst satin tea length dresses and carried ivory fans accented with ivory lavendar and amethyst satin roses with seed pearls and baby's breath. Flower girls were the bride's nieces, Sara Roberson and Samantha Severt of Wilmington. David Holden served as his son's best man. Ushers were Petty Officer William (Billy) Stanley of Shallntte Point and Tommy Lambert, brother in-law of the groom, of Hickmans Crossroads. The groom wore a black tuxedo with tails, an ivory shirt and stained glass cummerbund and bow tie. His attendants also wore black tuxedos with stained glass cummerbunds and bow lies. After a reception in the church fellowship hall, the couple left for a honeymoon in Charlotte. They are living in Wilmington.
