Poster Contest Has Cash Prize Professional and amateur artists of all ages are invited to participate in a logo design contest sponsored by the South Brunswick Islands Chamber of Commerce for the 1 5th annual N.C. Oyster Festival. The winning design will be used for the festival, scheduled for Oct. 20 and 21, 1995, and will be dis played en T-shirts and sweatshirts, posters, brochures and other promo tional materials. The artist creating the winning design will receive a $100 cash prize awarded by the chamber, and his or Celebrating Birthday The children of Lafayette Jones of Shallotte are inviting friends and family to a drop-in party in honor of Jones' HHth birthday Sunday, Sept. 4, front noon until 5 p.m. at his resi dence, 60S Village Road. The N.C. Oyster Festival is a celebration of local seafood in the South Brunswick Islands and at tracts thousands to the area during the "shoulder" season. Designs shou'd show the community spirit of the festival and should incorporate seafood. Designs must be 8 inches by iO inches and must be in color. They must include the Allowing words: Fifteenth Annual North Carolina Oyster Festival, Oct. 20 & 21, 1995, South Brunswick Islands, N.C.
