Paliwoda made a birdie at the
17th hole. Reporting chip-ins were
Jean Jann at the 14th and Barbara
Fieri at the 18th.
At Brierwood, Alice Struck led
the way with 31.5. Runners-up were
Elizabeth Carter with 33.5 and
Marie Broekstra with 36.5.

Harding at the second hole, Evelyn
Wuthrich at the ninth and Carter at

Pat Narazinski shot net 13 to win
the Brierwood Ninettes tournament
last Friday. Golfers counted scores
on even-numbered holes only.
Runners-up included Marge
Palacio and Julie McCall with net 15
and Judy Durham with net 16.
Durham made par at the third hole.
Jo Paterson had low putts for the
day with 15 and Kay Allwein had
16. Tied for third with 17 putts each
were Marion Allen, Durham and
McCall.
Sea Trail Men
Ray Washam fired gross 76 to
lead the top flight in the Sea Trail
Men's Golf Association tournament
last Tuesday on the Byrd course.
Runners-up in the A Right in
cluded George Beerman with 82 and
Marv Peters and Jim Jones with
rounds of 83.
On a match of cards, Joe Levey
finished first in the low net division
with 71. Ron Schadle was second
w?th 71 and Jim Walker third with
B Right winners included Don
Lowensten with gross 84, Dick
Zinsef with 85 and Doug Mehne and
Bui Gonska with scores of 91.
Joe Carpinello fired net 71 and

Men's Club will hold its second an
nual benefit golf tournament
Thursday,' Sept. 8, at Sea Trail Golf
Links at Sunset Bcach
A shotgun start is scheduled at
noon for the captain's choice event.
The entry fee of S50 per player in
cludes a ticket for the post-tourna
ment barbecue dinner and social.
Extra tickets will be sold for $10
each. The dinner will start at 5 p.m.,
and musical entertainment will be
provided.
Proceeds from the tournament
will be used to help pay off the
Brunswick County Democratic
Party headquarters building loan.
