Southport Man Gets Two-Year Prison Term For Break-In
A Southport man was sentenced
to two years in prison last week after
pleading guilty in Brunswick
County District Court to a charge of
breaking into a home in Long Beach
July 23.
T defendant, Richard Alvey
Partello III, 26, of Route 1 had been
charged with felony breaking and
entering. He pleaded guilty to a mis
demeanor offense as part of a plea
bargain.
Judge Jerry Jolly accepted the
plea and gave Partello the active
sentence with credit for the 32 days
he spent in jail awaiting trial.
In three days of district court last
week. Judge Jolly presided, while
District Attorney Rex Gore and as
sistant DA Marion Warren prosecut
ed. Marie Jordan served as court
room clerk.
