Recertification will allow property owners affected by the Town of Ocean Isle Beach Floodplain Management Ordinance to contin ue to receive the benefits of a Class 8 Rating. As a Class 8 community, flood insurance rates are discounted 10 percent on top of any other discounts a property owner may be entitled to through individual actions.
