A 29-year-old Supply man was week"^0 fWlyearS in P?" last week after admitting that he pu"chclh,s w?fc in the face, kicked a sheriff s deputy and damaged the officer's patrol car. Michael Daniels of Seashore Hill Road pleaded guilty in Brunswick Coun y District Court to charges of assault on a female, injury to per sonal property and assault on a gov ernment official. ~ Daniels was accused of assaulting his wife June 30 by "hitting her in the face with his fist," court records show. He was charged with assault ing Deputy Michael Smith by "Icick ing him in the left leg" while the of ficer was attempting to place Daniels under arrest. Another war Daniels causcd more than $200 damage to the right rear door of Deputy Randy Robinson's patrol car. !n sentencing Daniels. District Court Judge David Wall combined the three cases for judgment and or dered the defendant to serve two years in prison, "to run at the expira tion of any sentence (he is) presently serving. 7 The judge recommended that Daniels take part in the prison sys tem :? Drug Abase Rehabilitation Training (DART) program. Judge Wall presided over two days ?(district court in Bolivia last week.
