Wilmington presided over by the
Rev. Clyde McCall.
The bride is the daughter of Step
hen and Connie Schutte of Supply.
She is a senior at UNC- Wilmington
majoring in elementary education
and will graduate in May 1995. She
is employed with First Citizens
Bank and Parkview Medical Center
in Wilmington.
The bridegroom is the son of
Gregory Chavez of Smithfield and
Phyllis Greene of Boone. He is an
MBA student at UNC-Wilmington
and is employed by the N.C.
Employment Security Commission.
The bride, who was escorted to
the ceremony with her sister in a
horse-drawn carriage, was given in
marriage by her parents and escorted
by her father. She wore a white satin
lace gown with sweetheart neckline,
fitted bodice with basque waist, key
hole back with candybox bow and
full skirt with graduate hemline. The
bodice and elbow-length puffed
sleeves were of lace over satin. She
wore a portrait hat with three-tiered
pouf veil and adorned with pearls,
sequins and lace.
She carried a cascading bouquet
of white roses, gardenias, stephan
otis, freesia, ivy ferns and pearls.
She also carried a single purple iris
in memory of her paternal grand
