Shell Point Man, Wife Charged In Break-Ins A Shell Point man was arrested last week on charges of breaking in to four homes in the area, while his wife also faces a felony charge for allegedly trying to pawn some of the stolen property, a Brunswick County Sheriff's detective said Monday. Hank Rodney Williams, 31, of Shell Point Road has been charged with four counts each of breaking or entering and larceny, according to Detective Gene Caison. The sus pect's wife Donna Clemmons Wil liams, 28, is charged with one count of felonious possession of stolen goods. Williams is accused of stealing television sets, microwave ovens, fishing tackle and other household items from three homes on Shell Point Road and one on Woodthrush l.ane in the Shell Point Acres area. The thefts occurred last February and March, the dctective said. Caison said his inquiries led to the couple after some of the stolen goods turned up at local pawn shops. Registration Deadline Is Set Friday For Master Waste Managers Program Sept. 30 is the deadline to register for Brunswick County's new Master Waste Managers program, "Sorting It Out Together." About 20 Brunswick Countians will be accepted in the initial train ing and volunteer program devel oped by the N.C Cooperative Ex tension Scrvice and offered by by the county's recycling program and cooperative extension service. It will be offered on seven consecutive Mondav evenings from Oct. 10 until Nov. 28. "how we currently manage our trash in Brunswick County and what management options we have besides landfill disposal." Sessions will cover such topics as recycling, waste reduction, house hold hazardous waste and compost ing. Two weekend tours are planned to the county landfill and to a recy cling facility in Wilmington.
