Coats For Needy
The Loris Community Hospital
Explorers are sponsoring a "Coat for
the Needy" project.

Information Center is accepting ap
plications for its Christmas Basket
program through Nov. 18. Distri
bution is tentatively scheduled for
Dcc. 20 and 21.

"As in past years, we will make
decorator tags for the Trees-of-Hope
around the county," she added.
"Applicants should be aware that we
will continue the policy of making
tags only for those members of the
family who are under the age of 18
or over the age of 65.
"Applicants should come pre
pared to tell us what special wish
their youngsters have for Santa.
These wishes will be passed on to
individuals or organizations who
adopt families to fill if possible. We
will accept a limited number of ap
plications for consideration made in
person at the VIC offices."
VIC offices are beside Supply
Baptist Church at the intersection of
U.S. 17 and N.C. 211. They arc
open Monday through Friday from 9
