Brunswick Fishing Club Presents Annual Awards Rosalyn McDowell of Sunset Harbor was the big winner Saturday night when the Brunswick County Fishing Club wrapped up its 1994 season by presenting awards for its annual fishing contest. McDowell was recognized for catching a 40-pound wahoo, 22 pound barracuda, 10-ounce spot and 8-ounce pig fish. She is the daughter of Dale and Ruby McDowell. Rosalyn McDowell also received the Dale Speicher Memorial Award, which is presented each year in memory of the fishing club's first secretary and one of its founders. The fishing club's only other mul tiple award winner this year was David Rourk of Shallotte with a 40 pound king mackerel and a 15 pound. 4-ounce false albacore. Other local fishermen winning awards were Clint Knox of Bolivia with a 63-pound. 4-ounce black drum, and lilton Hickman of Bolivia with a 2-pound, 3-ouncc silver snap per. There were only three winners in the children's fishing contest. They were Michael Faircloth with a 4 ouncc pig fish.
