It spun par tially around and struck a fencc, while the Oldsmobite ran into a ditch and stopped. Dosher was charged with driving left of center. Damage was estimated at $5,500 to the Chevrolet and S8.500 to the Oldsmobile. Neither McCumbee nor Dosher was transported for medical treatment. A driver and his passenger received only minor in juries last Tuesday night after their 1993 Hyundai skid ded out of control and rolled over several times. Damage to the Hyundai was estimated at Si 2,000. The N.C. Highway Patrol has identified the victim of an Oct 11 fatal crash near Calabash as Patricia A. Mangan. 36, of Calabash. Trooper H R Smith said Mangan was attempting to cross U S. 17 from Country Club Drive when her vehi cle entered the path of a southbound tanker truck. After impact the car flipped several times and exploded into flames, killing Mangan and her dog The tanker driver was treated and released. No charges were filed. "That's better than sitting on the roof, which is what I promised to do last year," she said. While the goal was exceeded last week, Williams won't have an exact count until the pennies are bagged later this week for the trip to the bank. Students and other school sup porters began collecting pennies last year for the playground project and had hoped to meet their goal before the end of the 1993-94 school year.
