?1 I To Marry In December Melody M. Mills of Whiteville and Terry E. Stephens of Ocean Isle Beach will be married Dec. 18 in a J p.m. ceremony at Wedding Chapel by the Sea, Myrtle Beach, S.C. The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Halford D. Mills of Hope Mills and Mr. and Mrs. Bill F. Morgan of Gatlinburg, Tenn. She attends Southeastern Community College. The prospective groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell E. Stephens of Whiteville and is em ployed by Brunswick Electric Membership Corp. of Shallotte. CLUB BRIEFS Seniors Meet At Park Town Creek Senior Citizens will meet Thursday, Nov. 3, at 12 noon at Town Creek Park for a covered dish luncheon. Susie Carson, Brunswick County historican and author, will be the guest speaker, and members will elect officers for the coming year, said spokesman Marie Young. Visitors are welcome. Ladies Sell Biscuits At Festival By Sea Veterans of Foreign wars Ladies Auxiliary Post 8866 will be selling ham biscuits at this weekend's Fes tival By The Sea at Holden Beach. The group also will conduct a drawing for a videocassette recorder and a Bryan Varnam painting. Homemakers Visit Boys', Girls' Home Ten Brunswick County Co operative Extension Homemakers recently toured Lake Waccamaw Boys and Girls Home and presented the home with a check for $100 from the county council toward the purchase of books. An additional check for $25 was given by the Supply club. The group split up and ate lunch with boys and girls in each of the four group houses at Lake Wac camaw. Alton and Sarah Williamson celebrated their 50th wedding an niversary on Oct. 21. After working as a welder at Newport News Shipbuilding, Mr. Williamson retired in 1969. Mrs. Williamson is a retired registered nurse.
