Methodist Church Saturday, Nov.
12, starting at 8 a.m.
doggers, a clown, pony rides and
games are planned at the "church
fest," along with a visit from a fire
track and a yard sale, craft sale and
homemade cakcs and candy.
Hot dogs will be available all day,
and homemade vegetable soup and
clam chowder will be served from
11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The church is approximately three
miles south of Shallotte on Village
Point Road.
McMillan At Chapel
The Rev. Charles McMillan, a
Methodist pastor from Raleigh, is
the pastor of the week at the Holdcn
Beach Chapel
He will lead the 11 a m worship
service Sunday, Nov 13, at the
chapel on Rothschild Street across
from Holden Beach Town Hall. A

Calabash Emergency Medical
Service volunteers made 59 runs and
worked 190 hours during
September, Chief Frank Egan re
ported to the board of directors on
Oct. 27.
Volunteer* 'raveled 2.069 miles
on 18 calls to Calabash, 14 to Sunset
Beach. 10 elsewhere, as well as 9
mutual aid calls to Shallotte and 8 to
Waccamaw.
The November board of directors
meeting will be on the 17th at 7
p.m.; the December meeting will
take place on the 15th. also at 7 p.m.
