Bolivia Plans First Parade The first Bolivia Christmas Pa rade is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 10, beginning at 11 a.m., sponsored by the Bolivia Volun teer Fire Department Auxiliary. Following the parade, Santa will be at the firehouse handing out goodies to the children. Representatives of the Brunswick County Sheriff's Department will be there for the child identifica tion program. For more information, call the department at 253-5025. 'What Is The South?' Lecture Topic John Shclton Reed, scholar of the American South, will present the program "Just What is the South Anyway?" as part of the "Bit of His tory" lecture series at Cape Fear Museum in Wilmington. He is Kenan pro fessor of sociology, director of the Institute for Research in Social Science and founding director of the Center for the Study of the Amer ican South at UNC-Chapcl Mill Mis recent book. My Tears Spoiled My Aim, is a follow-up to One South, which approaches south erners as an "ethnic" group A book-signing will follow the lecture Copies of Reed's books are available in the museum's shop.
