For Sign
Shallotte Middle School Parent
Teacher Association is seeking do
nations from local businesses and
civic groups to erect a new sign
with lighted marquee ir. front of the
school and perpendicular to Villace
Road. K
The proposed sign, whose cost is
estimated at $5,000, would "cele
brate the school and school events,"
said Principal Sandra Robinson.
The sign would have eight perma
nent sponsor sections ? four on each
side. Businesses who donate $500
would receive a permanent sponsor
section. All donations will be recog
nized in the parent newsletter mailed
to the homes of nearly 900 students,
Robinson said.
Contributions are tax-deductible.
For information, call the school at
754-6882.
