Donations Requested For Sign Shallotte Middle School Parent Teacher Association is seeking do nations from local businesses and civic groups to erect a new sign with lighted marquee ir. front of the school and perpendicular to Villace Road. K The proposed sign, whose cost is estimated at $5,000, would "cele brate the school and school events," said Principal Sandra Robinson. The sign would have eight perma nent sponsor sections ? four on each side. Businesses who donate $500 would receive a permanent sponsor section. All donations will be recog nized in the parent newsletter mailed to the homes of nearly 900 students, Robinson said. Contributions are tax-deductible. For information, call the school at 754-6882. Local Birth Announced Randall and Sharyn Morrison of Sunset Beach have announced the birth of a son, Caleb Robert Mor rison. Arriving at 4:03 a.m. Nov. 21 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center, he weighed 7 pounds, 9 ounces and was 20'/. inches long. He joins two brothers. Isaac and Jacob Morrison. Grandparents are Frank and Elayne Brantley of Charlotte and Rod and Ebba Jo Morrison of Le noir.
