He was born in Supply on Aug.
28, 1985, the son of David Henry

home. He was a member of Em
manuel Presbyterian Church and a
student in the fourth grade of Blount
Elementary School. He was active
in Boy Scout Troop 231.
Surviving in addition to his par
ents are his twin brother, Brian
James Harmon of the home; his pa
ternal grandmother, Beverly J.
Harmon of Marietta, Ga.; his mater
nal grandfather. William A.
Lovelace of Wilmington; his pater
nal great-grandmothers, Marie A
Blood of Marietta, Ga., and Helen
Harmon Tejan of Zcllwood. Fla.;
and an uncle, Brian C. Harmon of
Chicago, 111.

23 in Andrews Mortuary Market

Iroy Calvin Jones, 87, a resident
of Autumn Care of Shallotte and
formerly of High Point, died Dec. 23
at his residence.
He was born Sept. 1, 1907, in
Guilford County, a son of Hamilton
William and Nancy Rclissa Smith
Jones. He was a retired employee of
Harriss and Covington Hosiery Mill,
where he was employed for 52
years. He was a member of the
Oakview United Methodist Church.
On May 3. 1927, he was married to
the former Rosctta Kennedy, who
preceded him in death on Jan 31
1980.
