' FRIDAY, MARCH 19, 1937 IBIS WEEK'S BIBLE THOUGHT SHOWERS OF BLESSING: I will make them and the places round about my hill a Messing; and I will cause the showers to come down in his season: there shall be showers of blessing. Ezekiel 84:26. HELP THE CRIPPLED CHILDREN Dont turn down the youngsters who come to you with Easter seals to sell.. The proceeds from these attractive little seals are used to give die little girls and boys who are crippled through, accident or disease a chance to become well and strong. Tie bright-faced youngsters who are selling the seals are able to run about on good, strong legs. They can play games and run races and do stunts, and life stretches ahead of them as a grand adventure as they trip along. Yes, you are thankful! that your own child is not a cripple, perhaps. But there are some little folks who are deprived of all these privileges and there are some who spend the loag, long days on beds of pain. Others are crippled, in greater or less degree. "Joyous life for crippled children" is the slogan of the campaign to raise funds for financing the agencies and facilities for the treatment of crippled children. There is something about -tht phrase which touches the heartr Much ' can be done, much is being done, to cure the effects of disease and accident and to literally place children en their feet. For many who cannot be cured a way is opened to make. life happy and joyous in spite of the handicap. Your dimes and dollars spent for Easter seals will help the good cause along..
