Visiting In Norfolk Lt. and Mrs. G. R. Anderson apd daughter, Fay, spent a few days this week visiting friends in Norfolk. In Baltimore Mrs. Jake White and Mrs. Ray White are spending this week visit ing relatives in Baltimore, Md. They were accompanied' to Washington by Mrs. C. R. S. S. CLASS MEETS The Susanna Wesley Bible Class of New Hope Church met at the home of Mrs. Mattie Simpson, Thursday af ternoon, April 25th, at 3 o'clock. There were seven members present. The meeting opened with singing hymn Near The Cross. The "Lords Prayer" was repeated in unison. The beautiful legend. Toe True Grot, printed in Life Magazine, read by several members. The poem, The Legend of the Dogwood, was read by Mrs. C.,W. Griffin. A reading by Mrs. W. C. Barclift, "The Easter Hope." An article, "Alive Forevermore," was read by Mrs. J. W. Haskett. The hymn Christ Arose was sung. The business meeting consisted of minor discussions as an Easter offering, a generous purse was contributed by the mem bers, to a sick family.
