Upon their return from a northern
wedding trip, Mr. and Mrs. Hobbs
will make their home in Edenton.
The bride traveled in a gray wool
gabardine suit with black accessories
and corsage of an orchid.
Mrs. 'Hobbs is a graduate of Cho
wan Hich School and t present is
employed at the Chowan Hospital. Mr.
Hobbs also is a graduate of Chowan
High School. He served during the
war in the Army Air Forces. At
present he holds a position as county
mechanic.

Mrs. R. L. Byrum, matron of honor,
sister of the bride, wore a black suit
with red roses.
After a wedding trip, Mr. and Mrs.
Taylor will make their home near
Sunbury, where Mr. Taylor holds a
position at uyrurn parage.

mitts. She carried a white Bible

tered with a light lavender orchid.
Mrs. Pasquel Annunziata of Norfolk,
sister of the bride, was matron of
honor. She wore a powder blue crepe
flowers.
Miss Janet Ward of Suffolk and
Miss Hallie Bunch of Hobbsville,
cousins of the bride, were brides
maids. Miss Ward wore a cocoa
brown dress with matching hat and
mitts. She carried a colonial nosegay
of yellow and brown chrysanthemums.
Miss Bunch wore a pastel blue dress
with black hat and white mitts. She
carried a colonial nosegay of pastel
mixed flowers.
Lewis Leary was Mr. Hobbs' best
