IN MEMORIAM
In loving memory v of ' my dear
mother, Cora Russell Eure, who de
parted this life nine months airo:
God saw the road was hard to climb,
He gently closed your loving eyes, and
whispered peace is thine. - , .
No one knows the - bitter pain whic.h
I have suffered
Since I lost you, life has never been
the same. - -' -
In my heart the memory lingers,
Sweetly, tenderly, fond and true.
There is not a day, dear Mother,
That I do not think of you.
You bid no one a last farewell.
You said good-by to none.
The blow was hard, the shock severe,
We never thought death so near,
But only those who have lost can tell
the pain of parting.
I loved you, but God loved you best.
In Heaven I'll see you again.
Your Broken-hearted Daughter,
Mrs. Freeman Umphlett.
