Farmer and Miss Mary Julia Harrell were; hostesses at a miscellaneous .shower on the lawn of the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. T. Phillips Tuesday night, July 5, in honor . of Mr. and Mrs. Marshall White. , JEveryone wrote a wish for the bride aid groom, after which Mrs. Ennis Phillips and Mrs. Joe White conduct ed contests, with Mrs. Wallace Hobbs and Mrs. - William Tarkenton winning prizes. . The table, covered, with a lace cloth, displayed a three tiered wed ding cake. ; After first being cut by the bride and groom, the cake was served by Mrs. Irwin Long. Assisting in serv ing ,ice cream and mints were Misses Marian White, Mary Julia Harrell, Madelyn Phillips, Mary Inez Chap pell, Viola, Irene and Annabelle By rum, Louise Mansfield, Mrs. Joe White and Mrs. Mattie Taylor.
