Perrv before returning to his home with Mrs. White and family who have spent several weeks here. At Nags Head Mr. and Mrs. Walter Edwards. Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Tow and family spent several days this week and will spend the weekend at Nags Head at the Towe Cottage. New York City visiting her parents who recently arrived in this country from Europe.- After a two months stay in New York, Mrs. Hourmouzis' parents will come to Hertford to make their home. BRIDGE LUNCHEON Mrs. Thurman White was a de lightful hostess at a bridge luncheon, at the Hotel Hertford followed by bridge at her home last Thursday honorng Miss Kate Evans bride-elect of Murfreesboro, N. C. Those present were Miss Evans honoree, Misses Annie Lois Anderson, Sue Cullifer, Jane Evans, Eppa Barkley, of Mur freesboro, N. C, Miss Peggy Felton, and Mrs. Artis White. Durng the afternoon refreshments were served by Mrs. White and her mother, Mrs. Dail. A lovely linen tablecloth was presented the guest of honor, and. a gift went to Miss Felton who was married Saturday.
