Of State Sponsors Essay Contest For Students The Medical Society of the State of North Carolina announced yester day the opening of an essay contest for aU high school students in this state, this contest oegin marcn and closes March 20. Its subject will be "Doctors I Have Known," and as first prize the Society is offering $600 college scholarship. Second and third prizes will also be awarded. The. purpose of this contest is to further education in matters related to the public health of the state and to encourage studenfa to consider the medical profession and its allied fields in choosing their life careers.
