Likely prices received will fall, btrat prices paid (will remain high. 'Efforts to keep reasonable relationships it causing an increasing number of com modities to be placed under produc tion controls. - Farmers should make adjustments which, will lead to a farm- in); system consistent with the lony time program for the State rather than adopting stop-gap measures for I960. "Except for specialties,, the on ly: commercial enterprises which ap pear profitable and can be added are some form of livestock . :: The production of . livestock in turn demands more feed and the most eco nomical source of good feed is pas ture. Apprximately 230 acres were seeded to permanent pasture ui Per quimans County last fall. Already many farmers are finding that this i enough to meet the demands of th livestock they now have. Tthey are also finding that their pastures are the cheapest source of feed available, Sn order that we may 'observe some oi these- pastures and talk with the formers, a Pasture Tour has been planned for Friday afternoon, April 14, Dr. E. R. Collins, Extension Ag ronomy Specialist will" be present to assist with the discussion. The group will meet at the Agricul tural Buuilding in Hertford at 1:00 o'clock and go by the following sched ule: 1:30, M. T. Griffin, 9 miles South of Hertford on Rt 17; 2:15, J.
