Nixon, the bride wore an ankle length dress of angel blue satin with a lace top and a finishing net neck line, with matching blue accessories and a fin ger tip veil. She carried a prayer book with a white orchid. The maid of honor was Miss Sybil Skinner who wore a dress of toast lace over pink satin. Her accessor ies were dark brown, she carried a nosegay of mixed flowers. The groom had as - his best man, Sgt Quentin Krause, U. S. M. C. The ushers were Earhe Goodwin and Julian. Broughton.. Sutton and C Felton, defeated the Ahoskie grid team 12-0 in a game played here last ' Friday afternoon. The Bears scored once in the first and third quarters, but failed to con vert tries for extra points. In the third neriod. Felton took a nunt from Ahoskie and raced 71 yards for the final Hertford score. The Bears will play Edenton here on Friday of this week, and will be trying for a victory to edge Edenton, which tied the Bears 18-18 in a prey lous game at Edenton. In St. Paul's Mrs. C. H.
