THE PERQUIMANS WEEKLY, HSHTFCr.a rOHTK " . 1 i Qr rf , . Lc-s Announced price support to cotton farm era who plant within then' regular Choice "A" allotment in 19G0.will be 28.97 cents per pound for inch middling at average locations. According to George Bellmon, Perquimans County ASC office manager, the support rate in this state for 'A inch middling will be in the "fteighboi hood of .nine-tenths of a cent p-r pound higher because ' of the cheaper transportation to j hiiU areas which are located in this state. For producers who elect the Choice "B" program which per mits them to p'ant up to 40 over their "regular" allotment, the level of support is some vhat lower. The rate for Choice "B" farmeis for "s inch mid dling at aveiage locations will be 23.18 cents per pound. For I Choice "B" farmers in this state the nine-tenlhs of a cent price differential would also apply. In accordance with the law these ratqs are final. There will be po recalculation of support lev els at the beginning of the mar keting year for the 19G0 cotton crop.
