The figure, which represents 75 per cent of the i (Parity price for May 1974, is ij$30 per ton higher than the $1973 support level. The 1974 peanut program differs from that of 1973 in that (1) peanuts found to contain visible Aspergillus flavus mold will be ineligible for support, (2) charges assumed by producers fro storage, handling and inspection will be increased from $15 to $17 per ton, and (3) Commodity Credit Cor.'s minimum sales policy for diversion sales for crushing will be 100 per cent of the loan level. Existing law provides for peanut support at a level between 75 and 90 per cent of parity depending on the percentage which the total supply of peanuts is in relation to the normal supply at the beginning of the marketing year.
