The defeat of Gumberry had been expected and it was easy work for the Pirates. The home team used their first string men during the first quarter and let the freshman members of the team finish off the game. Thomas Rountree led the scoring of the Pirates 64 points, the highest they have J 1 MSI: OFFKNSIVK 1'I.AYKK OK TIIK WEEK Pirate Quarterback Don Matthews, a 6'f ' 147-pound junior was mimed player of the week offensively when the Pirates piayed Gumberry last Friday night. Lightfoot made three straigflt tackles on the kick-off and was credited with seven solo tackles.. The Pirates defeated Gumberry by a score of 54-6. The supplemental security income program is administered by the Social ' Security Administration, an agency of the U.S. Depart-' ment of Health, Education and Welfare.
