Pag -Ttie Perquimans Weekly. Mertfere; H.C, rw"4. F--r H WW 6 c By EETTY JONES As the month of February rolls in happenings at P.C.HJ5. seem to be at a standstill. Maybe the , students and faculty cant seem to get used to the unusually cold weather: If ' ) Mr. Forecaster, the i, groundhog is right, as be so often is, it's heavy coats and big boots for six more weeks Upon Mr. Pat HarreU's request, a few students paid a visit to him discussing problems, likes and dislikes pertaining to the high school. This group is scheduled to meet with Mr. Harrell every first Wed nesday once a month for the remainder of the school year. Those meetings seem to be successful and are proving to be of great in terest to Mr. Harrell as well as the students. The process of receiving lunch at P.C.H.S. has once again changed. Box lunches were eliminated, con sequently resulting in a long plate line. This new system could prove beneficial if all parties involved acted accordingly. The Beta Club had one week of hard candy sales. Each member was asked to sell a certain amount of Reese Peanut Butter Cups. The Biology Club met last week to finish discussing possible fund raising projects. It was decided to start candy sales within the next month. The Health Careers Club is selling balloons near Harris Shopping Center and downtown Hertford every weekend to help raise money for the Heart Fund. ; The Student Council for Valentine's Day plans "A Singing Valentine" activity. The person writes a valentine poem to his or her sweetheart then delivers it to a council member. Classifieds &X.egals DR. B.C.
