With Edenton expanding to two teams and Manteo adding one, and the possibility of Plymouth having one team, a six-team league is pic tured. The local league will be hosting the 16-18 year old Area 6 Tournament in July. The 13-15 year old league, which had three teams last year, is going to a different look as It wUl be the only program in the county for boys in that age group. More information will ap pear in next week's paper concerning this league. The league decided to sponsor a Pitch, Hit, and Run Contest (similar to Punt, Pass, and Kick) for 1 the 13-15 year olds on the 1 first Saturday in April. The boys will also sign up that day for the league with practice starting in April. The fee for each boy will be |5. A smiliar event will be held for the 16-18 year olds in April also. Several other items of business were discussed in cluding the recruitment of assistant coaches and helpers.
