For Jesus' crucifixion, death, and resurrection completes the purpose for which Christ came. It demonstrates Jesus' Diety. It vindicates his claim to be the Son of God. Jesus died and arose so that he might fulfill the ultimate triumph, "Because I live, ye shall live also." (John 14:19) Easter assures us of life eternal. It's fitting that the aliveneu of Spring should reveal this deep truth. Now, the future of his kingdom rests in the hands of his fol lowers. Pray we be worthy!
