I've had slot of people question me
concerning the football program for
boys 9-12 years of age. I will give some
answers to the most asked question.
This will be a tackle league. There will
be a four team league, with two teams
from Perquimans County, and two from
Chowan County.
The Bank of North Carolina is sponsor
ing one of the teams.
There will be a minumum weight limit
of 65-70 pounds to be eligible to play. We
are undecided concerning a maximum
Hmft.
There will be cheerleaders for the two
teams.
I will answer more question next
week.
The girls Softball trip to Asheville was
very successful. Thanks go out to all who
contributed.
The Adult Softball tournament will be
going on all next week at the Union _
School. Maybe your plans to attend the :
tournament. I
See you next week.
