In the Senior High Sympohonic Band, Tonya Walker and David Johnson were chosen. Walker, a sophomore at Perquimans High School, was selected as a clarinet player; Johnson, also a sophomore, was selected as a trench hornist. In the Junior High Symphonic Band, grades eight and nine, Lyn nette Riddick wa* chosen. Riddick, a clarinet player ia a freshman at Perquimans High. i In the Junior High Concert Band, Maria Trent, Lee Cooper and Paul Lane were chosen. Trent, a clairnet player is a fresh man at Perquimans High; Cooper, a trumpet player is an eighth grade student at Perquimans Union School; and Lane, a percussionist, is a also a freshman at Perquimans High School. s All of these students will take part in a Band Clinic in Greenville at the ECU School of Music on February 3 and 4; giving a concert on Saturday night before returning home.
