Come see the many services, new and old, available at the hospital's Open House, May 6, 1984, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Open House, which is being held in observance of National Hospital Week, will focus on tours of the facility. The new childbirthing rooms, featuring home style environment; the CT Scanner, featuring space age technology; and the consolidated Cardio-Respiratory Departments are just a few of the interesting areas available for touring. A fascinating 25 minute film, "Man the Incredible Machine", which looks at the human body from the Inside, will be available for viewing at the Open House. Information about the Life Line Program, which provides a vital communication link between the hospital and outpatients will be available, as will the Vial of Life. Other hospital week activities include interviews with Albemarle Hospital personnel on WGAI's "Ask Your Neighbor" radio programs, May 7th and 8th; and a Riverspree Booth on May 12th. The booth will feature blood pressure checks, EKG's, pulmonary function tests, and health care information. Don't miss these opportunities to see what Albemarle Hospital has to offer you. - ? i Counting Calories Many people think they know the calorie count* of the basic foods they enjoy on a regular basis.
