Carlyn Brown of Perquimans
County has been named Hospice Vol
unteer of the month for May 1987.
Mrs. Brown has been working with
the same patient for the past two
years making weekly visits of at
least an hour. The family states that
she has been a stabilizing factor and
has helped to maintain the house
hold.
This is the third year Carlyn has
served as a Hospice Volunteer and
she, like so many other volunteers,
says that it is very hard to explain
how much it has meant to her. She
keeps herself busy when she's not
working for Perquimans County De
partment of Social Services by taking
caxe of her family and volunteering
for the Perquimans Rescue Squad.
Congratulations Carlyn!
