2 THE PERQUIMANS WEEKLY, WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 26,2015 Reward increased for information From Staff Reports The family of a 39-year- old woman who has been missing since May 30 has doubled the reward for in formation about her. Arlene Murin now says the family will provide $5,000 to for information about Karen Bosta. Bosta was last seen at Walgreens in Edenton. Bosta moved to Holiday Island about two years ago. “This is a plea from a mother,” Murin said re cently. “If somebody saw anything, it may be small, please call law enforce ment.” Lawmen in Chowan County have searched by foot, boat and air in the area near where Bosta went missing without re sults. Bosta’s red 1997 Lincoln Continental was BOSTA found in early June in the Gaslight Square park- ing lot in Edenton, but based on the fact that Bosta is 5-foot-3, law- men don’t think she drove it there. The driver’s seat was pushed way back, as if to suggest somebody taller drove the car and parked it. Bosta weighs about 150 pounds with brown curly hair, blue eyes and was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, white shorts and slip-on shoes. Anyone with any in formation about Bosta’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Perquimans County Sheriffs Office at 426-5615.
