THE TRIBUNAL AID
A RIDDLE IN RHYMES
by
Rev. T. M. Walker
WHAT AM 1?
Folk know about me as they know about air;
A handy force I am indeed.
Yet, some doubt me and this is not fair,
Because they don’t try me when in need.
Those who do use me know of my value.
For upon me they can rely.
I’m never accused of being like a statue.
Standing still when called from up high.
WHAT AM I?
I am not lifeless, yet you can’t see me move;
Yet, my presence can be felt within.
When I bring brightness one’s heart is soothed.
As the soul becomes cleansed of sin.
Jesus taught as to how I should be used
Before he ascended on high
So that men caught at sea may not be confused
As to how to call and get a reply.
WHAT AM 1?
Users know that I have power for things
As they put me into their faith calls.
For I'm needed every hour for the hope 1 bring;
And for the way I prevent many falls.
When other forces fail and no other power is left.
I’m a tool that’s always standing by
To leave a trail of answers for one to “help himself”
To blessings called forth from on high.
WHAT AM I?
(The answer to last week's riddle is TYPEWRITER.)
(The answer to this week’s riddle will appear in the next
issue of THE TRIBUNAL AID.)

Ralph Brown, a Southern

Charles Bell, from Northeast show

defensive backfield. Willie
Jones, of Northeast, and
Lewis Alston, of Southern
Guilford, will be the starting
linebackers.
Hornsby Howell, Jr., the
coach’s son and a product of
Dudley High, will handle the
punting. Other players on the
1975 roster include Rachon
Fuller, a defensive end from
Page High who was named
the MVP in the 1974 Shrine

Oscar Lowe, a defensive end

on the Aggie roster is in

that it is difficult for a local
school to get their area.
Shows You Koyy to Make--
“Sure a lot of players want
to go away from home when
they consider a college,”’
Howell said. “However, I
believe that if a coach can
prospect a good
program, indicating
the number of football players
who graduate by the end of
their playing career and the
courses of study, the chances
of the athlete signing are
great.”
The Aggies open their
1975 season on Saturday,
September 6, against CIAA
rival, Virginia Union. The last
time the two teams met was
in 1958 at which time the
Aggies won 40 - 6.
