Sargeant, pastor oi rae First Baptist Church, was elected President of the Kings Mountain Ministerial Association for the current year at a meeting held at the Presbyterian fChurch Tuesday afternoon. Other officers elected were Rev. S. W. Johnson, Vlce-Pres ident, and Rev. H. C. Sprinkle, Jr., Secretary. Plans for the annual Boy Scout Week union service were discussed, and It was agreed that the service should be held on the evening of I February 11 at Central Methodist Church with the pastor of Boyce Memorial A. R. P. Church as speaker. Rev. P. D. Patrick was appointed chairman of a committee to arrange a program for the community sunrise service on Easter Sunday. On motion of the retiring president, Rev. It. B. Hamm. the nssocia tion unanimously ordered a letter cf thanks to be written the Editor of the Kings Mountain Herald for space devoted to religious news and church notice*. Weedon had as their guests Thursday a week i ngo at the former's mother, Mrs. C. F. Weedon and Miss fTura Albert son of Htgh Point who were, on their way to Florida. Mr. Lee Ramaeur. and daughters. Misses Bessie and Sarah Ramseur and son. Dr. W. R. Ramseur. returned home Wednesday after having spent several da?s ln Florida. SEALS SALE BREAKS RECORD Mrs. Grady W. King, Chairman of the Tuberculosis Xmaa Seala Sales reported that a total of $66.84 was derived from the sale of the seals. This Is the hiahest amount that has ever been sold in' Kings Mountain.
