Miss Page Gets Nursing Degree In second annual "White Night" ceremonies held at Emory Univer sity last week Miss Addie Mae Pa eg, of Kings Mountain, N. C., received tier registered nurse pin and don ned her white nurse's uniform fpr the first time. Emory Hospital Chaplain L. M. Twiggs pronounced the invocation and gave the benediction and Dean of Administration, Bolsfeuillet Jon es, gave the farewell address. Miss Page hais now officially com pleted her course, although diplo mas and degrees will not be award ed until June. She is the sister of Mr. Harry E. Page of Kings Moun tain. Dean Jones in his talk called at tention to the "high dignity of the tiursing profession which has emer ged through the centuries because of the love of men for their fellow - men." ? * "At Emory University, a Christian institution supplying for mankind what mankind needs, nifrsing has at last taken its place among the professions," he said. Eighty per cent of this graduating class are degree students who will receive the degree of bachelor of , science in nursing.
