"Home On The River," by Rutledge
and told of her visit to the Hampton
plantation from which the scenes of
the book were taken.
In the absence of the president,
Mrs. P. D. -Patrick presided over the
routine business.
The hostess served a chicken sal
ad plate with accessories. A sweet
course was passed.

bers of the Tuesday Night bridge

Methodist church met at the home
of their teacher, Mrs. J. E. Mauney
for their regular monthly meeting.
The program was presented by
Miss Jeraldine Cobb.

games were enjoyed. Sixteen mem
bers and three visitors, Miss Bernice
