Girl Scoui Troop 23 of Davidson High school enjoyed highly the cele bration of Girl Scout Week which was observed last week. They espec ially enjoyed their broadcast ng ov er Station WGNC in Gastonia and attending the different church ser vices in a group. Other enjoyable activities continued throughout the week. We are very grateful to our par ents for their cooperation in help ing us get 12 of our Scouts in uni form. A Brownie Troop has been or ganized and will be under the direc tion of Mrs. Gibson as Leader and Mrs. Winston as assistant Leader. All parents are asked to to help and encourage our smaller girls from ages 7-10 to become Brownie Scouts. The organization of a Senior Troop ] for our High School girls is under- ! way.
