Mary Edgerton was honor ed at a surprise birthday party No vember 25 given by Mrs. Beatrice Hill and Mrs. Harrell Pressly. Jr. It was a most enjoyable evening. Funeral services for Mr. Floyd Clark were held November 29 at Ves ' tibule church. Mr. Clark died at the Columbia Vetoerans hospital, age 61. He was born In Cleveland county and was widely known. He was a veteran otf World War 1 and served in the army as a cook.
