Wm. H. Slender, Pastor The Annual Carol - Candle light ing service will be held on Christ mas Eve December 24th at the St. Matthew's Lutheran church. The or ganist, Mr. Franklin Pethel, and the pianist, Mrs. Aubrey '^auney, will begin th? sacred organ, music at 10:30 p. m. At 10:45 p. m., the Senior Choir, with the organ and piano ac companiment will sing a medley of Christmas Carols 'by Boardon. The processional will begin at 11:00 a. < m.. by the Youth Choir sinigng the beautiful, "OM Come All Ye Faith ful." The Service is divided into three parts, "Mankind ? Yearning for the Light," "God ? |Preparing to Give the Light," and "Jesus Christ ? the Light of the World." The Pastor, I Rev. Wm. L. Stender, will bring a | special Christmas message. . We went to niner places. At Mrs. David Hamrick's we wefe invited in for refreshments. When we finished caroling we went to Judy Cooper's where we were served while ?wr looked at television. After seein# the Lone Ranger and Hop Aloof Cassidy, we exchanged and the hostesses, JudJ' Cooper and Becky Thornburg. presented us with Httle baskets of candy from the Christ mas tree.
